Herons Wraparound Care
Welcome to our Herons - our popular, in-school Wraparound provision. Herons provides a warm, safe, and inspiring environment that is designed to support busy families while giving children a fantastic start and end to their school day. Our wraparound is more than just childcare; it’s a place where learning, fun, and friendships flourish.
Children enjoy a wide range of activities carefully planned to encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork. From arts and crafts sessions bursting with colour and imagination, to energetic physical games that help burn off energy, every day offers something new to discover. We provide opportunities to explore board games, puzzles, construction toys, and role-play activities, all chosen to support problem-solving, communication, and social skills.
What truly sets our wraparound apart is our educational support, uniquely built into the daily routine. Our experienced staff are passionate about nurturing each child’s development, and we proudly offer dedicated reading and spelling practice for any child who needs a little extra support. Parents can request individual help, whether that’s reading through school books, practising tricky phonics, or boosting spelling confidence before weekly tests. This personalised approach ensures children receive the encouragement they need in a relaxed and positive setting.
