We are a "category one" school!

Despite being a school within the John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust, we nonetheless maintain a relationship with the Local Authority, as a school in Staffordshire. 

Earlier this week, the LA wrote to us to share that we have been graded a "Category 1 school." This means we are considered a "low or no-risk school" based on several factors, including academic data and attendance. 

They also said the following:

"We have also noted that school achieved higher than the national average in a good level of development, phonics, the combined measure at Key Stage 2 as well as achieving a good level of attendance. Congratulations on these areas of high performance."

We are very proud of our outcomes and while we still have plenty of areas we want to enhance, it is pleasing to receive recognition such as this.
