Published attainment data - how are we doing?

As you know, children at the end of year six sit statutory tests called SATS. The results of these are published and they are part of what is used to judge the quality of education a school provides.

Key Stage 2 SATs data for 2024 has just been validated and published by the DfE and I am pleased to share these with you below:

Furthermore, the data analysis carried out by the DfE contains the following facts:

*The percentage of children achieving the higher standard for reading puts us significantly above the national average, in the 95th percentile.

*The percentage of children achieving the higher standard for maths puts us significantly above the national average, in the 94th percentile.

*The percentage of children who passed the year one phonics screening check last year puts us in the top 10% in the country.

We are very pleased with these results and delighted for the children and staff who have worked so hard. This data will allow us to take pride in what we know we are doing well, and also identify where we can do even better.
